Description

This model, an hommage to Antonio de Torres was designed for professional guitar players looking for a traditional-sounding but modern-playing guitar. It has the lightweight build that this maker is known for, but with some modern features like 20th fret, ebony reinforced neck and slightly elevated fingerboard for improved playability. It has an outstanding quality of sound, remarkably balanced with penetrating, lyrical trebles and sturdy, clear yet plump basses. It is made with first-class, traditional materials, the best the Camps brothers have. The rosette is a replica taken from an original Torres - SE 60, built in 1884. The beautifully shaped plantilla is eye-catching and the overall design is remarkably elegant. Playability and setup are a dream, with nice, easy action. Fitted with a beautiful set of Alessi tuners and varnished with a very thin coat of shellac. Although used, it is in excellent condition with only some minor wear in the finish.
