Description

Amalio Burguet started building guitars in 1984 in his hometown of Catarroja, just outside of Valencia, Spain. 30 years later, he has grown the shop into one of the more respectable in Spain, and is now assisted by his two children Vanessa and Damian. This is his top model concert model from 1996 - and uses his finest materials and in our opinion, his most tasteful decorative work from the period, including an elegant rosette and purfling throughout. Sound is even and balanced, with a very focused fundamental at the center of every note. It has been meticulously cared for - it shows very few signs of playing wear for an instrument over 20 years old. Very comfortable and easy to play, it could easily fill any recital hall.
