Description

This is a pristine example of a great Blochinger. These instruments record wonderfully, and on stage, they have great projection and an outstanding quality of tone, audible all the way at the back of any large hall. As with all Blochinger guitars, this was built with exceptional materials - the aged and very dark spruce top perfectly quartered which allows for a lighter, thinner top but with added stiffness for a balanced but responsive tone. The CSA rosewood used for the back and sides has some lovely figuring throughout. It is in excellent condition with only some very minor playing wear in the finish. Tuners are the top-of-the-line Reischl "Superstar" model with gold plates. Playability is excellent with Blochinger's famous "one piece" neck with a very smooth and comfortable shape. Sounds is huge, with a beautiful, rich tone. World-class in every regard.
