Description

This guitar is a modified version of Michael’s “Modern Concert Model”. He loosened it up just a bit more than usual to give it a fast and lively attack with big basses and warmer trebles. The sound is fat and full with big basses and thick trebles however the notes don’t crowd each other out – the clarity between voices is beautifully maintained amidst the richness of sound. Playability is easy with a sleek, comfortable neck and it projects beautifully making it ideal for any sized concert hall. Materials chosen include some beautiful pau ferro for the sides and four-piece back. Fitted with nickel silver Alessi tuners with ebony buttons. The custom rosette is inspired by the 1888 Torres (SE114) owned by Francisco Tarrega. Michael’s craftsmanship is superb – the “fit and finish” of the instrument is done with meticulous attention to detail. Although used it is in excellent condition with only some minor wear in the finish. Overall a fantastic instrument, particularly at this price point.
