Description

This is a beautiful sounding Manuel Adalid guitar, based on structural details from the work of Antonio de Torres - the smaller body shape and style of detailing is reminiscent of the great guitars put out in Torres' "first epoch". With an easy neck shape shape and comfortable setup, it plays like a dream. Soundwise, it has a very open sound with plenty of volume and a nice responsiveness, likely the result of a beautifully cut spruce top French polished in shellac. It also has excellent responsiveness with quick attack and great volume - hallmarks of the famous Torres style. Although a second-hand guitar, it is in excellent condition with only some aesthetic wear in the finish. It also has an electronics installed with an endpin fitted to an under-saddle piezo pickup. Great guitar for a gigging musician needing amplification without feedback. Acoustically it sounds fantastic as well and would make a great guitar even to anyone not needing the amplification. Includes custom-fit hardshell case.
