2021 Lucas Martin SP/IN

Lucas Martin makes guitars based on the design of his father’s (Bernd Martin) guitars, which have been developed and perfected over more than 30 years, and he is fortunate to have access to woods that have been carefully selected and aged over the course of decades - and in the case of this classical guitar, it features a particularly stunning set of figured Indian rosewood for the back and sides. Attention to detail is first-class, the fit and finish is among the best in our inventory. Although he has worked for many years with his father in the same shop, his guitars do have a character of their own - the headstock is slightly different in shape, the mosaic and inlays are similar but not exactly the same, and they possess a quality and character of sound that are also distinct. They are a perfect example of what the Granada guitar style is all about - easy to play, light, lyrical and traditional.
