Description

Jeffrey Elliott's 12 year wait-list has been closed for many years now due to the overwhelming worldwide demand for his instruments. His new or even used instruments almost never appear on the market, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire an instrument from this highly sought-after maker. As is the case now, it was true even back in 1975 that Elliott's work is extremely refined and all matters of detail are perfectly executed. The sound of this guitar is extremely clear with great separation between voices, much in the spirit of Hermann Hauser Sr, one of Jeff's stronger influences. The trebles are brilliant and bright - the basses firm and deep. It is no wonder that his clientele include the likes of Julian Bream, Ralph Towner, Leo Kottke, Jonathan Leathwood, Dick Weissman, Earl Klugh, and Burl Ives, just to name a few. A fantastic instrument by all standards.
