2020 Julia Wenzel CD/CSAR

Julia builds completely in the traditional Spanish style and if anything, her sound and feel resembles the guitars from the Miguel Rodriguez shop, particularly from the 1960s. Like their instruments, this guitar is lightly built, has a fast, immediate attack and is followed by a lovely and full, harmonically rich quality of sound in every note. It has plenty of power for any concert situation and plays with ease, very responsive to the right-hand and a nice, smooth neck shape for the left hand. Materials are top-notch, and this is our first guitar from her with CSA Rosewood, which is absolutely stunning. It is also fitted with premium-quality tuning machines by Klaus Scheller. Truly a great value for the price.
