Description

Mariano Tezanos is famous for the work of his father (same name) who stamped M. T. inside some of the greatest guitars from Ramirez during the 60s and 70s. After years of building guitars with Madrid builder (himself a veteran Ramirez luthier) Teodoro Perez, under the joint name "Tezanos-Perez", both builders in 2005 decided to separate and set up their own independent shops. This guitar was was made in Mariano Tezanos' shop, and is the only model that we have seen ("Maestro"). It features some beautiful materials, particularly for the back and sides for those who like high-quality straight-grained quartersawn CSA rosewood. The sound has the recognizably big, Madrid-style of tone. Considering the quality of sound, materials, playability and workmanship, this guitar is extremely hard to beat for this price range. Condition of this guitar is like new with only minor signs of playing wear.
