2016 Luis Fernandez de Cordoba SP/MP

This guitar is an excellent example of his style. Of all the time spent in dozens of workshops across the United States, Spain, Mexico and Argentina, his instruments (although traditional through and through) have taken on a very eclectic style as a result of these various influences. Perhaps the most notable feature is his use of the partial wooden tornavoz fitted inside the soundhole. This helps focus the sound in its outward projection (giving the guitar added power) as well as turning it back into the box making the back resonate more against the players body, helping to enhance the bond between instrument and player. The sound is rich and lush and we are pleased to be working with this fine young maker.
