Description

This is a lovely instrument built by veteran US luthier Michael Thames, who has been making guitars for over 40 years. It's a lightweight, growling flamenco guitar with great power, projection and instant attack. To us it is built in the style of great southern Spanish makers, and could easily pass for an instrument built in Granada any time in the past several decades. It's extremely easy and fun to play, one of those guitars that is hard to put down - and as you can see in the photos, it has been lovingly played a great deal already in its short life. Overall a very fine concert instrument for the flamenco player looking for that old-school sound.
