This guitar was built in the famous Jose Ramirez workshop, which for over half a century has produced instruments performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.
Possibly one of the most played and known of any Spanish made guitar in history, the Ramirez 1a model continues to satisfy players as a truly outstanding performance instrument by any standard. This guitar has all the color and warmth normally associated with a great Ramirez, and has playability more like the Madrid guitars of the 1950s. For attention to detail, quality of construction and sound, we rate this instrument very highly. This 1998 model is in great condition, with no damage or repairs, and only normal playing wear.
