Description

This is truly a rare and exceptional instrument by one of the USA's most respected luthiers. This is the only Ruck bench copy of a Marcelo Barbero in existence. Ruck built this for himself when he sold his Barbero in order to remodel his kitchen. It is an exact copy. It does have one repaired crack on the back that happened during construction, which he cleated. It's actually under the label so not visible from the inside or the outside. This is what it would be like if you could buy a brand new Barbero. For sound - it's very loud, clear, articulate, with a chiming rasgueado and a vintage bark. The action is nice and low, yet the saddle has additional room to lower should a future player want it "Diego del Gastor low" and in fact, would probably sound like his guitar. The total quality of the guitar, the reputation of the maker, and the rarity of the instrument, would make this one at home in any top collection.
