Description

This particular guitar is built with a level of workmanship and attention to detail that is hard to surpass, and an elegant appearance that is near perfect. The mosaic from the rosette is inlaid on either end of the tieblock - a tip of the hat to Romanillos, whose influence is noticeable throughout the guitar. The spruce soundboard is extremely stiff and perfectly quarter-sawn, with very strong grain lines, rich with crystalized resin which helps distribute the vibrations over a larger area of the top. It is also among the more lightweight classicals we've seen, and plays with great ease and comfort. The tone is steady and clear in all registers, and very well balanced. It has a punchy, immediate response with a plump and juicy quality to every note - up into the highest treble registers. With an incredibly refined sound, huge volume and excellent sustain, this guitar has it all. Although previously owned, it is in almost like-new condition with barely any signs of previous use. We are proud to be representing the work of Jochen Rothel here in the USA.

A Visesnut "Yellow" hardshell case is included with this guitar.
