This is Wolfgang Jellinghaus' tribute to the 1912 Manuel Ramirez (built by Santos Hernandez) that Andres Segovia played for the first 25 years of his career, the original now housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. All details of the original have been carefully reproduced with the exception of the materials used - for this "version", ziricote was selected for the back and sides (as opposed to CSA rosewood on the original). The guitar is lightly built, with explosive response, making it incredibly easy to play. It also has a the sleek, easy neck shape for the left hand and smaller neck with 630mm length and 50mm neck width at the nut. Overall a very impressive concert guitar, and a meticulously well-produced tribute to one of history's most iconic instruments.
