Concert Spotlight: Tavi Jinariu Performs at Los Angeles Valley College

Tavi Jinariu will perform a classical guitar concert for the American Guitar Society. This event will occur on February 24, at 8:00 PM in the Los Angeles Valley College Recital Hall.

Tavi is our good friend and one of the most popular guitarists on our YouTube channel. He is originally from the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, Romania. Born into a family of gypsy musicians, Tavi was exposed to singing and dancing from very early in life and began playing the guitar at the age of 5. In the fall of 1999, he was awarded a scholarship to study with Christopher Parkening in California.

Tavi Jinariu is currently a professor of guitar at the Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA.
