German Luthier Jochen Rothel and His Newest Classical Guitar With Cherry Back and Sides

German luthier, Jochen Rothel, has shared with us some sneak peek photos of his newest classical guitar built for GSI. The guitar is already finished and Jochen is planning to ship it to our shop by the end of this week.

In our opinion, Jochen Rothel, is one of the finest luthiers working out of Germany today. His level of workmanship and attention to detail is hard to surpass. His guitars are sonorous, lightly-built, with impressive low body frequencies.

This new guitar has a spruce soundboard and cherry back and sides. As you can see in the photos below, classical guitarist Jan Depreter has already tried this guitar in Jochen's workshop and gave it a thumbs up!
