Julia Trintschuk Sings and Plays “Una Palabra” by Carlos Varela

Our friends at the Omni Foundation have just published a beautiful new video featuring classical guitarist Julia Trintschuk whom you might know from our recent GSI videos. In this intimate performance of Una Palabra by Cuban singer-songwriter Carlos Varela (arranged by Joaquin Clerch), we not only hear Julia’s sensitive and expressive guitar playing, but also get a rare opportunity to hear her singing. The performance was filmed in San Francisco as part of the Omni Foundation's concert series.

Julia’s musical journey began at the age of four, and since then, she has studied with some of the most respected teachers in the guitar world, won numerous international competitions, and performed around the globe. This latest video adds another dimension to her artistry.
