Francisco Luis and Marco Bortolozzo Featured in Our Newest Set of "On-Location with D'Addario" Videos.

D'Addario artist Francisco Luis recently visited luthier Marco Bortolozzo in Milan, Italy, to record videos as part of our "On Location with D'Addario" series. Having won over 40 international prizes in guitar competitions, Francisco is one of the most acclaimed Portuguese artists of his generation.

While in Milan, Francisco recorded three videos on a 2024 Marco Bortolozzo SP/ZR classical guitar built for GSI. He performed "Liebeslied" from Johann Kaspar Mertz's "Bardenklänge, Op. 13", "Fantasia X" and "Fantasia XIV" from "Los Seis Libros Del Delphin" by Luis de Narváez, and Francisco Tárrega's "Prelude No. 1". In addition to the performances, Francisco also briefly discussed each of the pieces.
