Player Spotlight: Zlatko Josip Grgić - Torres' Whisperer

Zlatko Josip Grgić, also known as "Torres' Whisperer" is a classical guitarist from Croatia. From his early childhood, he has been surrounded by some of the best guitar players in the world such as Leo Witoszynsky and Tommy Emmanuel. Taught by his father, a guitar teacher himself, Zlatko developed a style that prioritizes authenticity, expressiveness, and continuing the tradition of the old Spanish school of guitar.

Zlatko's technique distinguishes him from many other players as he plays without the help of long nails in his right hand. This, combined with the fact that he plays on a real 1890 Antonio de Torres guitar, results in a beautiful sound with old-world charm and it sounds fantastic even with an orchestra!
